Everyone in Boxing is Using Steroids According to Former World Champion Mia St John

Former Mexican-American boxing champion and Playboy November 1999 cover girl Mia “The Knockout” St. John shocked the boxing community with a surprising admission about her use of anabolic steroids. But it was her comments about steroid use in the sport of boxing that caused the most uproar. St. John alleged that steroid use was rampant and that “everyone does it and everyone in boxing knows it”.

St. John inserted herself into the conversation about doping in the sport of boxing when she decided to come to the defense of Mexican boxer Saul “Canelo” Alvarez. Alvarez has repeatedly been criticized by rival Gennady Golovkin over his two positives drug tests for the prohibited substance clenbuterol on February 17, 2018 and February 20, 2018.

Golovkin most recently called Canel “the most unpleasant and dirtiest opponent” he had ever faced in boxing.

Golovkin first suggested that Alvarez was a long-term steroid user whose doping was covered up by corrupt boxing officials back in March 2018.
