Gen-Shi Labs Has Major “Technical Problem” with Testo-P 500

Gen-Shi Labs Testo-P 500 contained an entirely different ester than advertised.

January 9, 2016 – Gen-Shi Labs started off so well on AnabolicLab. It received a perfect score on the very first lab test published by AnabolicLab. Its latest lab test results have been much less impressive.

Gen-Shi Labs Testo-P 500 listed 100 milligrams of testosterone propionate per milliliter as the active ingredient in the product. Unfortunately, SIMEC was unable to detect any testosterone propionate whatsoever. It did detect an entirely different ester of testosterone.

Gen-Shi Labs Testo-P 500 contained testosterone enanthate instead of testosterone propionate.

SIMEC found 213.9 milligrams of testosterone enanthate per milliliter in the vial of Testo-P 500.

Gen-Shi Labs admitted it made a mistake. It attributed the error to “technical problems”. Gen-Shi offered to send customers replacements for the “faulty products”.

A mistake of this type is obviously not good for consumers. It could create various problems for bodybuilders who expected to receive a short-acting testosterone ester and planned accordingly.

Consumers who unknowingly received a long-acting testosterone ester would not be able to appropriately manage side effects. For example, estrogen management and post cycle therapy would differ considerably.

At least, Gen-Shi Labs took responsibility and offered to make amends. That says something about the brand.
