Rich Piana recently published the details of his next anabolic steroid cycle in two Instagram posts on December 10, 2015. He called it the “get BIG as FUCK” steroid cycle program. Within a couple of days, the posts each received almost 5,000 likes and another 1,000 comments.
Judging by the response, hundreds of bodybuilders who admire Piana will faithfully follow Piana’s steroid cycle to the very last detail. After all, Piana said it was perfect for “everyone” even natural bodybuilders who have never used steroids.
“Here is the cycle I will be doing starting on New Years Eve!!” Piana wrote on Instagram. “2016 the year to get huge we are bringing BIG back!! The 3 month get BIG as FUCK program is for everyone whether your natural or you take Shit!! This program is genius and done in a methodical way that makes putting on size simple if your willing to put the work in!!”
The steroid cycle requires the use of various bodybuilding drugs including the injectable anabolic steroids Deca Durabolin (nandrolone decanoate), Equipoise (boldenone undecylenate), Masteron (drostanolone propionate), Primobolan Depot (methenolone enanthate), Proviron (mesterolone) testosterone cypionate, testosterone enanthate and trenbolone enanthate; the oral steroids Anadrol (oxymetholone), Anavar (oxandrolone) and Dianabol (methandienone); the peptides human chorionic gonadrotropin (hCG) and Serostim-brand human growth hormone (hGH); and the anti-aromatase inhibitor Arimidex (anastrozole).
First of all, Piana’s 3-month steroid cycle isn’t really 3 months. It simply wasn’t possible for Piana to condense the “genius” program into a period shorter than 4 months. Yet he still calls it a 3-month cycle.
“I could not fit all the months on 1 sheet of paper so make sure you see the other half of this cycle! Also yes it is extended to 16 weeks instead of 12 that’s just the way it worked out and needed to be!!”
Piana explained the steroid cycle as a work of “genius” that could be “scaled down or up” depending on the user’s experience level. He cautioned users to reconsider using more than 4.5 IUs of GH per day since anything above that amount could lead to intestinal growth and the dreaded “growth gut”. Piana is apparently highly concerned about aesthetics and believes that excessive GH and insulin will “ruin the physique”.
“Now everyone is starting off at a different level so depending on your last cycle adjustments can be made to fit each individual,” according to Piana. “It can be scaled down or up hopefully people can handle this part on their own. For the more advanced that are doing much higher doses of GH my reasoning is anything higher than 4.5 iu a day will cause the intestines to grow and eventually you will have a growth gut also same goes for using insulin but everyone is free to add on whatever they choose. GH and insulin will put on more size than anything but in my opinion it will ruin the physique!”
Piana does things like pyramiding steroid dosages, rotating orals to protect the liver, switching from testosterone enanthate to testosterone cypionate, using mega-dosages of hCG as his sole form of PCT, and injecting short-acting esters like Masteron one day per week. None of it really needs to make any sense since Piana is huge!
Nonetheless, Piana promised to explain the “reasoning” and “theory” behind the “genius” cycle. And after inviting and encouraging all his Instagram followers to copy his steroid cycle, he decided to offer the a standard disclaimer saying “it is not recommended for anyone to follow this”.
“It’s very important that people understand the reasoning and theory’s behind this cycle! Would love if the more advanced could explain some of it! Now everyone knows this cycle was created for me and it is not recommended for anyone to follow this!
Of course, Piana followers and/or those who lack any critical thinking skills don’t need to hear a rational explanation, or any explanation at all for that matter, to blindly follow Piana’s advice. And when he said no one should follow his advice, his followers will ignore that warning even though they would have been better served to ignore everything else Piana said.
